As America marks the close of its 250th anniversary year, we’re coming together to explore a simple but powerful idea: service can be a foundation for a lifetime of leadership. Service Year Alliance, the National Peace Corps Association, New Politics Academy, and the National Museum and Center for Service are coming together around a shared belief that people who have already chosen to serve are uniquely equipped to lead. This conversation will explore what happens after service and the different ways service alumni carry that commitment forward. Have you ever thought about running for office? Through the stories of people living it, we’ll explore how service can shape what comes next and what becomes possible when people choose to keep serving.
